Mailbox Monday - 10/14/2012

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. (Library books don’t count, but eBooks & audiobooks do).

Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles, and humongous wish lists!

Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia @ A Girl and Her Books, is on a blog tour!

The host for October is:

  2. I actually got The Girl on the Cliff too, but I forgot about it. Another reviewer on my team had asked for it, and I don't know if she sent it to me instead or what.

  5. Hi Elizabeth,

Both of your books this week sound great.

Someone else recommended another Charles Todd book to me earlier this week, so this mother/son writing partnership is aleady on my radar for the future.

'The Girl On The Cliff' sounds fantastic and Lucinda Riley (Edmonds) a great new author find. I can't believe just how good some of the Irish authors are at telling a story and Lucinda sounds as though she is carring on in the great tradition of Maeve Binchy and Cathy Kelly. I can't wait to get my hands on this book.

Thanks for a couple of excellent recommendations this week.

    Yvonne
