Mailbox Monday - 1/28/2013

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. (Library books don’t count, but eBooks & audiobooks do).

Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles, and humongous wish lists!

Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia @ A Girl and Her Books, is on a blog tour!

The host for January is:

My mailbox was completely empty again this week, but I am fine with that.

I have so many books to read that it is a welcome relief.

Hope you had a mailbox that made you happy.

Sorry to hear your mail box was empty this week. Glad to know though that you have plenty of books to read.

The last few years I didn't like when my mailbox was empty. This year though, I'm liking it so I can read all the books that have been waiting for me to read them.

I agree, Vicki.

So many books to read.

Mine was quite full...and then I bought some books, too...What was I thinking? lol

Enjoy the peace and quiet and the time to catch up.

Hi Elizabeth,

Just one offering in my mailbox this week as well and that was an author request, so I am good with that. The fact that it is also from my favourite genre of mystery / thriller, is even better news!

I hope that you have a great 'catch-up' week.

The last time I looked at my own bookshelf I rediscovered some of the books I had "forgotten" and got all excited. Enjoy the books you already have.

Books tend to come in bunches... nothing for a few weeks and then heaps of books. Enjoy your leisurely reading time.

I had ordered the next reads for my book club and have received all but one:
Gillham, David R. "City of Women" - 2012
Gowda, Shilpi Somaya "Secret Daughter" - 2010
Hannah, Kristin "Winter Garden" - 2010
Ung, Loung "First they killed my father. A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers" - 2000

The City of Women is good.

Those sound like a great collection of reads, Marianne.

ENJOY!!

Sometimes it's a relief not to find anything on the doormat :-)

Our book club usually finds a great selection of books. Very international, a wide spread of different reads. I love it. I have a whole section on my blog just for the book club books. Maybe you have seen it. If not, or if anyone else is interested, here is a link: http://momobookblog.blogspot.com/p/book-club.html

A mailbox devoid of books...a curse and a blessing. LOL!

Thanks for visiting my blog!
