Mailbox Monday - January 21, 2013

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. (Library books don’t count, but eBooks & audiobooks do).

Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles, and humongous wish lists!

Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia @ A Girl and Her Books, is on a blog tour!

The host for January is:

Another light week for books....no problem for me.  :)  :)

I like light book weeks.  Great for catching up.

On Monday, January 14, I received:

1.  LUNCH WITH BUDDA by Roland Merullo, courtesy of the publisher.

Hope you have a great week.

I read American Savior by the same author and thought it was great. I bet this one's good too.

Saturday I cleared one from the mountain..The Hotel On The Corner Of Bitter And Sweet-loved it btw, wish I had not waited on that one. But my mailbox Monday book is a easy, enjoyable read "A Street Cat Named Bob" by James Bowen. A memoir of a young homeless man on the streets of London. I quite like the British terms, they leave me gobsmacked. I also fancy the ginger feline Bob!

Hi Elizabeth,

I am not sure that this is a book I would enjoy, especially as I see it is the sequel to 'Breakfast With Buddha' and it sounds as though you need to read the first book to really get into the swing of what's going on.

I hope that you enjoy reading it though and catching up on some of your existing TBR books,

Yvone

I have not read the Buddha series, but as a yogi, yoga practioner, I'd love a chance to read them.

Good morning everyone:

I want to thank you for your interest in Roland Merullo's new book LUNCH WITH BUDDHA. As the publisher,I just wanted to mention, that Roland wrote the novel so that those who haven't read "BREAKFAST" would not be "lost" at all. And those who read the first book might find that they're catching up with "old friends".
Thank you again,

Peter
