I love real books best, but I actually quite enjoy my Kindle Fire. I didn't think I would, and yet, I do. There's nothing wrong with enjoying the best of both worlds, right?
I love print, but I have been reading more ebooks lately, so I'm starting to enjoy them, except if they are non-fiction. Then it becomes a real pain to flip back and forth through chapters on an ereader.
thanks for stopping by!! And yeah one more for real books! But those e-readers are popular! But whatever keeps people reading is a good thing. Knowledge is power no matter the form.
No question about it, I definitely prefer print books: the feel, the smell, the "history" of second-hand books. Recently I purchased an old, beautiful little book from Amazon, entitled:"The Silence of the Sea", written anonymously (for obvious reasons) during the Nazi occupation of France. On the first page, written in green fountain pen is: "Judith Hughes-Stanton, (or Stauton), April 30, 1945". I wonder who she is/was? However, my Kindle is handy for holidays, and saves me filling my suitcase with books, and is very easy on the eyes.

Your blog is always a dangerous place for me to visit. Every time I stop by, I end up getting lost on it for what seems like hours! One click always leads to another...
Definitely want a book in my hands. Besides, my kids (who are adults) told me they know I wouldn't like a Kindle. And my kids know me better than anyone.
I'm on the fence. I love the feel of a flipping the pages of a printed book.. but my Nook is just really easy to carry around with me. I like the convenience of e-readers, there are times I need a new book at 2 am or while I'm at work, I also like highlighting and marking pages on my Nook ... but I still lovee going to bookstores and the library when I have the time.
I couldn't do without my kindle now - and the Search and dictionary features really enhance my reading. But for a non-fiction book, especially one that has photos, maps, tables, family trees - then a print book still works. But for fiction, Kindle every time!
I'm afraid that it has to be an eBook for me - 'cos you can't prop a printed book against your legs and then sip your coffee with both hands wrapped around the mug!

Me too. I've tried the ebooks but much prefer them in print.
I will be curious to see who likes e-books more.
Have a great day!!
I love both! After I read several books on my Kindle, I have to read a print book.

Nope...nothing wrong with enjoying the best of both worlds. :)
Print books. Always. I've borrowed my son's e-reader a couple of times and I really, really don't like it. Print copies are so much better.
I'm a 50/50 reader. Though I prefer a real book when reading in a chair, I love using my iPad while traveling and when reading in bed.
Seems that printed books are in the lead!

I'm definitely more a fan of print but the ereader can be convenient. Thanks so much for stopping by! I follow you back.
I was the same way until I got my Kindle. Now, I like both. :)
I much prefer a printed book but my Nook is perfect for when I am traveling and can't carry all of my books with me on the airplane.
Printed, definitely.

I am a traditionalist too!

I prefer a print book especially when it's by one of my favorite authors. I don't mind trying a new author on my Kindle.
There is nothing like opening a printed book!

Print! I don't have an ereader, but I have read a couple books on my phone and I definitely prefer printed books.

I prefer print, although I can see times when an eReader would be wonderful.
