Book Blogger Hop - 3/1 to 3/7

QUESTION OF THE WEEK:

You're going on a long train ride. What books will you bring to read?

MY ANSWER:

Oh boy...tough question.  I would take a 500+ page book so I wouldn't have to pack as many books and also to keep the weight of my suitcase lighter.

I would also take my iPad to help with the suitcase weight.

As for the titles of the books, they would have to be historical fiction, a mystery, or women's fiction.

I would choose the books right before I leave depending on my mood, but the books would have the criteria I listed above.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I always take a large book (or two, depending on the length of the voyage) and choose right before I leave.

Hi Elizabeth,

I'd not pack a print book at all, or if I did, just one for when I couldn't use the e reader, just a slim volume, maybe a novella. I'd probably load some Kindle ebooks on the Android Kindle app. That's to bring enough reading material and conserving space too. As for the material, mostly historical and women's fiction. At least one thriller.

That is funny that we have the same answer, Marianne.

Good Choices, Maria.

I agree that a lot of time it depends on my mood.. I am very much a mood reader!

I would take more than I could possibly read. I always overpack when it comes to books.

I'm thinking I'd just take my Kindle. That way, I'd have lots of variety to choose from.

Happy Hopping!

I guess choosing just before you leave is a good idea because that way there wouldn't be time for me to change my mind a hundred times! Thanks for sharing! Here's my Friday post!

Me too! I have to choose right before I leave, but probably one of the longest books languishing on my shelves, Game of Thrones or Gone with the Wind. :) Fun blog hop! I would also pack my kindle in case I need to interrupt with something else

I would take one fiction and one non-fiction book, and then also my Kindle and Kobo, which are both packed with so many books.

I love books too! But for traveling I love my kindle because I'm not limited on how many books I can take. Thanks for hopping by!

Mood would be a definite determining factor for me. I'd probably take my Kindle so I could change what I'm reading if needed.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
