Mailbox Monday - 3/18/2013

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. (Library books don’t count, but eBooks & audiobooks do).

Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles, and humongous wish lists!

Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia @ A Girl and Her Books, is on a blog tour!

The host for March is:

I am going out of town Friday, March 22, and most likely will not be posting a Mailbox Monday for March  25 or April 1.

I may be able to comment, though.

I include the books from those dates in my Mailbox Monday when I return.

I had a full mailbox this week.  Four print copies and two e-books.  Most of the books were contest wins.  :)

On Monday, March 11, I received:

1.   THE PARADISE GUEST HOUSE by Ellen Sussman, courtesy of  Random House Reader's Circle and Library Thing Giveaways.

On  Thursday, March 14, I received:

1.  FLORA by Gail Goodwin, courtesy of Bloomsbury Publishing and Megan Ernst.  This e-book was a win from a Shelf Awareness Giveaway.

2.  CUPID'S CHRISTMAS by Bette Lee Crosby, courtesy of the author.  This e-book was a win from Ms. Crosby's March Madness Treasure Hunt Giveaways.

3.  THE BURGESS BOYS by Elizabeth Strout, courtesy of The Random House Publishing Group and Library Thing Giveaways.

On  Saturday, March 16, I received:

1.  CTRL Z by Danika Stone, courtesy of the author.

2.  THE EDGE OF THE EARTH by Christina Schwarz, courtesy of Diana Franco of Simon & Schuster.

  10. I have the Paradise Guesthouse from Netscape and only a limited time to read. I think there was a movie based on the book, which I have seen on TV. Hope you like it.

  12. Hi Elizabeth,

A great diversity of books this week, you must be pleased.

'The Paradise Guest House' and 'Flora' caught my eye, although both the authors are new to me.

Well done on so many of them being 'wins', that in itself makes the read so much more satisfying, don't you think?

    Enjoy your trip,

    Yvonne
