Saturday Snapshot - March 2, 2013
This is one of my three book clubs that I am in. We meet once a month at a local restaurant.
I had entered a contest on TLC Book Tours' Page and won 12 copies of THE EXPATS by Chris Pavone for my book club.
I have been asked: Why did I choose to enter this book club and not the other ones? This book club is the one I have been with the longest and the one that has a name. :)
We are called The Daily Grind. The name came from a coffee place that the book club met at for years.
We were VERY excited to win the book, and everyone is looking forward to reading the book. It is our book club's read for March.
I am the second person back on the left with the pink shirt and jacket....it was a bad hair day that evening!! :)

Book clubs are terrific. I'm in an online one. We won a set of books to do a book club discussion online recently. It was great fun.
This makes me miss my old book club. I moved 5 years ago and still haven't found the right group to join.
I guess that having worked for an optometrist for a short time, makes me notice how many of you are wearing glasses. I know that most people need reading glasses at some time, I wonder if those of us who read more, need them sooner? Or do some people just not wear their glasses in photos?
I was thinking it was funny that everyone had exactly the same copy of the book in your picture! Congrats--what a cool contest to win.

I've been a part of online clubs for years, but I just joined my first real life club two years ago. I love the people in the club so much. It sounds like your club is like that, too.
