Saturday Snapshot - MORE SNOW 3/9/2013

We had ANOTHER snow storm on Wednesday of this past week.  We had about ten inches of snow.

It is melting already because it is warming up.  It is going to be 60 over the weekend, so it should ALL be gone.

Hopefully the heat wave is a continuing trend.

Photo 1 is my mailbox. The mailman was able to deliver mail by the afternoon.  Do you recognize the mailbox from my mailbox Monday Posts?

Photo 2 is my house covered in the lovely white stuff.  :)

Photo 3 is the back porch railing.

Photo 4 and 5 are most fun.  Look how deep the snow is.  The "cut out" looks like a piece of birthday cake to me.  :)

Hopefully this is the last snow of the year in Pennsylvania!!!

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books.  It’s easy to participate – just post a picture that was taken by you, a friend, or a family member and add your link on Alyce’s site.

Whew, I'm glad that's up there and not down here. Stay warm!

Great shots! We got some snow here yesterday too, but not as much as you did.
It looks so pretty.

Snow is beautiful. Your shots of snow are beautiful. Thank you for sharing these, especially for those of us who see snow once every ten years and forget how beautiful it is.

Here's my Saturday Snapshot.

I do love looking at snow...and even occasionally playing in it...lol

But living in it? I guess I'm a spoiled California girl. We do have snow, too, but not where I live.

I love your mailbox...and didn't realize you had photographed your actual mailbox for your posts. Love the look of your house, too.

Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST

Wow, that's some serious snow! I'm down the road from you in Northern Virginia. We took a snowflake hit but nothing like what you got. Yep, it's time for spring to spring!

We drove from warm Vegas yesterday to Sedona and hit a blinding snowstorm between Williams and Flagstaff, 16 inches fell. The roads were horrendous. Got to Sedona not a flake on the ground.

Snow like that looks so beautiful, but I hope the thaw is not too messy. The snow's not arrived here yet ...

That's an awfully lot of snow. They've been forecasting more snow here, just as I thought spring was on the way, so I hope they've got it wrong. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/9qx5t

Oh, my, you got slammed! So pretty, and you got some great photos of it.

So.Much.Snow. I don't see how people that live up north can take it! It seems like it snows, it melts, it snows, it melts, it snows all winter long. My grandparents live in New York and I'm sick of the snow within 3 days of visiting! It is really pretty, though.

I know you must be sick of all the snow, but it sure is gorgeous!

Pretty and so happy our area of Texas has had no snow and today is balmy windy overcast but in the 60's already.

Oh my goodness! We had snow this week, too, but it was barely a dusting and was gone by lunch time! The pictures are beautiful, though! Here's my Saturday Snapshot post.

It might sound strange to say coming from somebody living in the tropics, but I love these snow pictures.

Wow I can't believe how much snow you guys are still getting over there (our long hot summer is now melting into a glorious, warm, sunny March!)
Hope it warms up soon :-)

Snow is wonderful to look at if you don't have to live in it...

It doesn't snow much in Portland, which is grand (if you can put up with the rain). Is the banner shot on your blog in Europe? A wonderful picture. Thanks for stopping by my blog! jf

I think that was the same storm that dumped 10 inches on Chicago a day earlier. We're melting today too, almost gone. This dreary winter wants to keep hanging on and I say enough already!
