Book Blogger Hop - 5/17 to 5/23

THIS WEEK'S QUESTION:

What is your guilty pleasure read?

MY ANSWER:

Hmmmmmmmmmmm...interesting question.

I guess I am going to have to say historical fiction.  I seem to be reading mostly that genre lately.

Have a fun hop!!

  2. Good morning to you on this Friday.
I don't have a guilty reading pleasure. But I did answer with what my guilty pleasure is, Tex-Mex food.
Hoping your weekend will be great.

  5. There really isn't anything I feel guilty about, except perhaps the fact that I still like reading The Babysitters Club books once in a while. :d

  6. A fun YA book that is pure pleasure. Not too deep but adventurous and with a fun plot.

  7. I have to admit that historicals would not be my guilty pleasure. I do read them but at a ratio of about 1:15 historical to contemporary novels.

  8. Thanks for stopping at my blog, I have put your blog into The Old Reader to keep an eye on. It is one of those ones replacing Google Reader which I will miss!

Thought looking at the photos at the bottom of the blog you were from Scotland but just visiting I see. Would love to visit that country.

I love Diana Gabaldon's Jamie and Clare books set in Scotland.

  11. Historical Fiction is a toughy for me. Some of them are really good, but most of leave me cold. I really, really don't care how many times they have changed their clothes for this event and that meal. And the manners, oh heavens above, the lectures about and pages spent on manners. Maybe if I was a fashionista or more prim and proper...

  13. Historical fiction is always a great read, especially if there's romance involved! I don't read as much of it as I'd like, but whenever I do, I greatly enjoy it, whether or not there's romance in it (although I do prefer historical romance). Happy reading!! :)
