Happy Friday!!I want to see what everyone's guilty pleasure is. :) :)
Good morning to you on this Friday. I don't have a guilty reading pleasure. But I did answer with what my guilty pleasure is, Tex-Mex food.Hoping your weekend will be great.Annette at http://impresionsinink.blogspot.com
Thanks for stopping by so early, Annette. :)
I read way too many historical fiction books.
There really isn't anything I feel guilty about, except perhaps the fact that I still like reading The Babysitters Club books once in a while. :d
A fun YA book that is pure pleasure. Not too deep but adventurous and with a fun plot.
I have to admit that historicals would not be my guilty pleasure. I do read them but at a ratio of about 1:15 historical to contemporary novels.
Thanks for stopping at my blog, I have put your blog into The Old Reader to keep an eye on. It is one of those ones replacing Google Reader which I will miss!Thought looking at the photos at the bottom of the blog you were from Scotland but just visiting I see. Would love to visit that country. I love Diana Gabaldon's Jamie and Clare books set in Scotland.
I've really enjoyed seeing what everyone's guilty pleasure is. Have a great weekend!
Thanks for visiting my blog. :) New Follower via GFC and BlogLovin'. :) Not really a fan of historical romances though. :P
Historical Fiction is a toughy for me. Some of them are really good, but most of leave me cold. I really, really don't care how many times they have changed their clothes for this event and that meal. And the manners, oh heavens above, the lectures about and pages spent on manners. Maybe if I was a fashionista or more prim and proper...
Happy weekend to you. Thanks for stopping by blog.
Historical fiction is always a great read, especially if there's romance involved! I don't read as much of it as I'd like, but whenever I do, I greatly enjoy it, whether or not there's romance in it (although I do prefer historical romance). Happy reading!! :)
I'm making my way through the Cousins' War Series by Phillipa Gregory - it's brilliant.
Historical fiction isn't a guilty pleasure, it's a protein and nutrient packed main meal :-)
