It's Monday!! What Are You Reading - 8/5/13

***************************
Hope you have a good week.

***************************

This is a weekly meme run by Book Journey!

Post the books completed last week, the books you are currently reading, and the books you hope to finish this week.

Books Completed Last Week:

1.  THE  HUSBAND'S SECRET by Liane Moriarty.

A bit of mystery as well as heartbreak and introspection.

2.  LOVE AND LAMENT by Johh Milliken Thompson.

I actually had it completed on June 23, but needed to wait to post it until closer to the publication date.

3.  THE RETURNED by Jason Mott.

I can't put my review link because the book is slated for a TLC tour on September 25.  I read it early because I figured September would be crazy.

It is very good but eerie.

My review is on Shelfari, Goodreads, LibraryThing, and BookBundlz, though, if you want to stop by.

Book Currently Reading:

A book club member won a set of Flight Behavior from TLC Book Tours, and this is our August read.

I luckily had one from the BEA because we didn't have enough books for everyone.

Books Up Next:

I added a few more, but they are not necessarily in the order I have planned to read them.  I normally read in order of publication or tour date.

And....these are not for reading in the upcoming week.  They are books into and including December.

The "list" is a means of keeping me organized.  A visual display helps a lot for organization along with my Excel lists.  :)

Oh dear on the arrangement of these books.  I can't seem to get them all in a row.

  3. Thanks for stopping by everyone.

    THE HUSBAND'S SECRET was good.

LOVE AND LAMENT was a bit on the dark side, but had fabulous prose.

    THE RETURNED was eerie.

  8. The Husband's Secret is still on my wishlist, as is The Returned. Flight Behavior is supposed to be wonderful for fans of Ms. Kingsolver. I only read one of hers years ago. Enjoy your week reading!

  20. Well I've just added a bunch of books to my TBR stack... it's the lure of certain book covers!

The Wife, the Maid and the Mistress; The Paris Architect; Necessary Lies and That Part Was True all look particularly good. You've got a couple there that are already in my TRB stack, including Perfect that I've heard terrific things about.
