It's Monday!! What are you Reading?

***************************
Hope you have a good week.

***************************

This is a weekly meme run by Book Journey!

Post the books completed last week, the books you are currently reading, and the books you hope to finish this week.

Books Completed Last Week:

I finished FLIGHT BEHAVIOR last week.
Book Currently Reading:

Angel Heart by Marie Laval

Books Up Next:

I added a few more, but they are not necessarily in the order I have planned to read them.  I normally read in order of publication or tour date.

And....these are not for reading in the upcoming week.  They are books into and including December.

The "list" is a means of keeping me organized.  A visual display helps a lot for organization along with my Excel lists.  :)

Oh dear on the arrangement of these books.  I can't seem to get them all in a row.

  1. Hope you find more time to read this week! Sometimes weeks can be like that and we get little reading done. All the best for this week.

  2. Looks like a great collection. The Wife the Maid and the Mistress catches my attention. I hope you enjoy all of your books.

  3. I finally did finish Flight Behavior.

It was good, but not as good The Poisonwood Bible that I read by Barbara Kingsolver.

  4. You do have a wonderful assortment of upcoming titles. I haven't ever read anything by Barbara Kingsolver though she is on my "someday" list. Here is my Monday Report. Have a great week!

  5. I just went back and read your review on the Kingsolver book. I have only read one of hers years ago, and I remember it took me awhile to get into it. I guess the same with this one, but once you are immersed in her world then it flows. As always, lovely stack of books--I am going to "go window browsing" on your list in a bit and see what I can put on my teetering TBR stack! Thanks for sharing.

  6. I'm currently reading one of Jo Nesbo's Harry Hole mysteries, The Devil's Star. Very engrossing. Next up? Hmmm...maybe Khaled Hosseini's latest. It's been waiting on my TBR shelf for me to get in the mood for it.

  7. I'm working on One Thousand White Women for book club this week. It's slow going for me, so wish me luck!

  8. I think everything Barbara Kingsolver writes will be compared to The Poisonwood Bible and found lacking. Poisonwood is so important to The Hurricane that she says she will never read it again. I feel the same way about Dinner At the Homesick Restaurant by Anne Tyler.

    Love,
    Janie

One Thousand White Women is good. You should like it...keep going.

Thanks for stopping, Janie. I haven't heard of Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant.

    Interesting lineup, Dorothy.

I do like my lineup, Kathy. Thanks for stopping by. :)

I am looking forward to reading The Wife, The Maid, and the Mistress, Pat.

  11. I didn't enjoy Flight Behaviour as much as you seemed to but I have been meaning to try something else of Kingsolver's.

    Have a great reading week
