Book Blogger Hop - 10/4 - 10/10

 QUESTION OF THE WEEK:

What book gave you goosebumps?

 MY ANSWER:

Any book by Stephen King gives me goosebumps and more.

I actually can't read him any more even though he is a fantastic author.

I don't like terror and "goosebumps."  :)

  4. OMG! Me too! This is my first time in a long time reading scary/horror books. I am doing the RIP Challenge this year and I have gone over board with the scare. I think I will be sleeping with a baseball bat under my pillow for the rest of the year. Great answer.

  7. I think for me the goosebumps came with my read of China Mieville, King Rat. The book is very well written, but certainly gave me goosebumps.

  9. I don't read much Stephen King anymore either but I did read 11/22/63 about a year ago. It actually wasn't scary, like at all.
Thanks for stopping by my hop :-)

  11. I enjoy creepy books, what I don't like are gross, graphic descriptions, the serial killer type books.

I don't usually have a problem with Stephen King. I'm reading Doctor Sleep now and it's not as scary as The Shining - or perhaps I've just gotten immune to him!

  12. LOL....you must be getting immune. :)

I tried Misery and another book of his but haven't read anything since then.

THANKS so much for stopping by, Leslie.

  14. The Calling by Inger Ash Wolfe; it literally made me gag.
I tend to avoid horror stories not only for the goosebumps but because they give me nightmares.

  15. I don't like scary stuff either. Gagging would really turn me off. Geeze...why would someone write something like that. :)

    THANKS for stopping, Carmen.
