Book Blogger Hop - 1/31 - 2/6

 Question of the Week:

When you receive new books in the mail, do the older ones get moved to the bottom of your list or do go strictly "by the book" and keep your list with older books first and then the new ones?

My Answer:

I normally go strictly "by the book" and read in the order I have received the books.

An exception is when I get a last minute tour or a book that definitely needs to be reviewed before or on the publication date.

I usually keep the books in order of being received and publication date, though.

  4. That's a good question...the older ones get read first...except when the new ones are review books.

    But sometimes I cheat!

  6. It all depends on how bad I want to read it and what mood I'm in :-)

  7. LOL I find it really hard to go by the book. I always get distracted when a new book arrives. :)

  8. Do you keep a record of when you received books?
I only track when they are released when it comes to review books. But another factor could be interesting to add to the mix!

  9. Good answer... I, unlike you, have a lack of self control. I read what I feel like, and if a new book isn't holding my interest I go back to my favorites.

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

  14. Page...definitely.

I keep track in a google doc with a column for the book title, the date requested, the date the book arrived, and the person that I requested it from.

I like to be organized. :)
