It's Monday! What Are You Reading? - 2/17/14

**********************
I hope you had a great reading week.

Another giveaway here for an e-galley of I AM PILGRIM.  Ends on February 21.

**********************
This is a weekly meme run by Book Journey!

Post the books completed last week, the books you are currently reading, and the books you hope to finish this week.

**********************

Books Completed Last Week:

Mom is still in the hospital.  I will be in and out for visiting blogs.  I didn't get any book done last week so I am leaving the same one as last week.

The Fever Tree by Jennifer McVeigh for a review post on February 21 for Penguin Group along with a giveaway.

I will remind you about the giveaway and post closer to the date.

This book was wonderful.

Beautiful, powerful, and mesmerizing.

I have posted reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, Shelfari, LibraryThing, Booklikes, etc. if you want to stop by there before the 21st of February.

Book Currently Reading:

I have gone through three books this past week and couldn't get interested. What I mean is that I read about 50 pages of each book and had to stop.  Bad week for me.

I hope this book will keep me interested.

Queen Elizabeth's Daughter by Anne Clinard Barnhill

This is for a blog tour in April.

Books Up Next:

Woman of Ill Fame by Erika Mailman

The Signature of All Things

Perfect by Rachel Joyce

Under the Wide and Starry Sky by Nancy Horan

**********************

The books below are not necessarily in the order I have planned to read them.

I normally read in order of publication or tour date.

And....these are not for reading in the upcoming week.  They are books into and including next year.

The "list" is a means of keeping me organized.  A visual display helps a lot for organization along with my Excel lists.  :)

I added a couple more since last week.

  1. Hope your mom is better soon. I know about starting books and then letting them go. I have had a few of those too.

  3. Thanks for stopping, Harvee. Not sure if it is just my mood since Mom is still in the hospital or what, but the books definitely were not grabbing me.

  8. Can imagine your reading is slowing down a bit with your mom in the hospital. Hope your mom is recovering though.

  9. THANK YOU, Ciska.

I need something. Feels like my life hasn't been normal for a month bookwise and life wise.
