Mailbox Monday - 3/3/14

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. (Library books don’t count, but eBooks & audiobooks do).

Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles, and humongous wish lists!

Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia @ A Girl and Her Books, has a permanent home now at Mailbox Monday.

 **********************
Every week Mailbox Monday will have a new linky posted for our Mailbox Monday links at Marcia's Mailbox Monday blog.

Here’s a shout out to the new administrators:

Leslie of Under My Apple Tree
Vicki of I’d Rather Be at the Beach
Serena @ Savvy Verse And Wit

THANKS to everyone for keeping Mailbox Monday alive.

I hope you had a good mailbox.

My mailbox was empty this past week, but that's ok by me

  4. Definitely enjoy the empty inbox! It's nice to just have time to focus on the books you already have rather than constantly get your attention stolen away by new ones!
Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great week!

  5. Hi Elizabeth,

I'm sure, that like the rest of us, you already have a huge TBR mountain to tackle in these lean weeks. If you should need any more inspiration, there are always the recommendations of your friends out here in 'Blogland', who are never short of new titles to share.

I hope that your Mum continues to improve and that you now feel able to get a little more 'me' time.

Have a good week and Best Wishes to you all,

    Yvonne.

  6. I love getting new books in the mail, but kinda like no book weeks too.

Hope your mom is feeling much better!

I agree that no book weeks are good.

  8. The "me" time will still be limited. She will need 24/7 care when she comes home, but it will work out.

THANKS for stopping, Yvonne. And...yes...my TBR stack is toppling.

A no book week is great. :)

LOL on our friends in blogland giving recommendations. You are correct about that for sure...no shortage of books or blogger friends.

I have TONS of books. It is fun to get them, but an empty mailbox is welcome at times.

  14. She did well today in therapy. We were cheering her on, and when mom reached the lobby that has a piano, my sister began playing. :) She was encouraged and smiled.

THANKS for the kind thoughts. Yes...I need an empty mailbox even though it is disappointing.

    THANKS for stopping, Leslie.
