  5. My book club read "The Fault in Our Stars" last year and it led to a very good discussion!

I loved Orphan Train...maybe I'll suggest it next year for my club!

  8. Melinda....I "think" my book club won ONE copy to share of FAULT IN THE STARS.

I may suggest that, but see below about how we choose books. I hope your club likes THE ORPHAN TRAIN.

We have a special way of choosing books so no one's feelings get hurt. Some members were upset because other members always complained about their book choices so we made up a fail-proof system. You may have seen my post at one time on our procedure, but what we did was to make a list of books in an Excel Spreadsheet that we all liked and assigned each book a number.

Then we made numbers and put them in a hat. Whatever number comes out of the hat is the book for the month. :)

    THANKS for stopping.

  13. Oooh, thanks for a good list for me to check off all I want. I have many of these on my wishlist, and own a couple but haven't read any except Divergent when it first came out and I did a buddy-read with my grown daughter. I don't read much YA, but it was an exciting book. Now I am off to look for more :)

  14. Also want to mention that I have never been in a face-to-face book club, but it is on my bucket list :) and hope when I move that I can join one somewhere there. Specifically, I have Orphan Train and The Light Between Oceans and read Divergent. But most of the others are ones I would like to pick up sometime.
