Mailbox Monday - Did You Have A Full Mailbox? - 6/16/14

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. (Library books don’t count, but eBooks & audiobooks do).

Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles, and humongous wish lists!

Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia @ A Girl and Her Books, has a permanent home now at Mailbox Monday.

 **********************
Every week Mailbox Monday will have a new linky posted for our Mailbox Monday links at Marcia's Mailbox Monday blog.

Here’s a shout out to the new administrators:

Leslie of Under My Apple Tree
Vicki of I’d Rather Be at the Beach
Serena @ Savvy Verse And Wit

THANKS to everyone for keeping Mailbox Monday alive.

 ****************

I hope you had a good mailbox.

How many books did you receive this week?

I am happy with one book - my son is coming home this week with all my BEA BOOKS.  :)

A strange thing happened yesterday.  I received an empty envelope from a publisher that should have had a book in it.  Somehow the book must have fallen out of the package.

Has that ever happened to anyone?

*****************
On Monday, June 9, I received:

1.  FREUD'S MISTRESS by Karen Mack and Jennifer Kaufman courtesy of Danielle Dill and Leslie Schwartz of Penguin Group.

  7. Freud's Mistress looks quite intriguing! And, just wait until you get all those books from BEA! I'm hoping to go next year...this Spring I had my oldest graduating from college and then my next son graduated from high school during BEA.

  16. No empty envelopes, but definitely totally destroyed envelopes that enclosed a really messed up book.

The book you did receive looks interesting. Nice cover art.

  17. Not sure what happens during the mail delivery.

Most books arrive in perfect condition. Must have been a fluke that it slipped out of the package.

    Thanks for stopping, Cheryl.

  18. I've never had an empty envelope in my mailbox, but I did receive a book that was bent all out of shape. It was a hardback too! I took pictures and sent them to the publisher. They sent me another book. Still have no idea what happened to it, but I kept it and it's displayed in my library.
Even people who don't read are interested in that book!
