Book Blogger Hop - 7/25 - 7/31

 Question of the Week:

Do you like to read books with a theme such as Halloween, Christmas, etc?

My Answer:

Not really.

I read themed books once in a while, but not a regular basis.

I actually think I have only read one book that had a Christmas theme.  It was The Walnut Tree by Charles Todd.

  1. I LOVE themed books, Halloween being my favorite, and Christmas being a very close second.

  3. Thanks for stopping, Kate and Kathy.

    I really don't like them.

To each his own I guess.

    Have a great weekend.

  4. I'm neutral about the whole themed thing. I don't pick out books BECAUSE they are themed but if the plot interests me I'll give it a try. I am interested to see if my regular reading is influenced without me realizing it - more murder mysteries around Halloween for example.

  6. I always feel like it's too cheesy to read themed reads. But then sometimes I read synopses and they're amazing! Thanks for sharing :) Hope you have a great weekend!

  10. I'm with you, Elizabeth. I don't usually read themed books. But I suppose if the plot sounded really good, I wouldn't let that stop me! :)
