I hope you had a great reading week.

This is a weekly meme run by Book Journey!

Post the books completed last week, the books you are currently reading, and the books you hope to finish this week.

Books Completed Last Week:

RUTH'S JOURNEY by Donald McCaig

A tale of everyone's beloved Mammy from GONE WITH THE WIND.  The book was an ok read.

It didn't get good until Mammy got to Tara.

Review is in the book's title.

The books below are not necessarily in the order I have planned to read them.

I normally read in order of publication or tour date.

And....these are not for reading in the upcoming week.  They are books into and including all of 2014.

The "list" is a means of keeping me organized.  A visual display helps a lot for organization along with my Excel lists.

How was your reading week?

  3. I liked The Beekeeper's Ball. Our book club just read it, and the author sent us a little care package for reading it!

Everytime I see The One Way Bridge on your list, it reminds me I want to read it. :)

  4. How fun you received a package from the author.

LOL on The One Way Bridge. My son took the book so who knows when I will get to reading it. :)

    Thanks for stopping, Quixotic Magpie.

  5. First off, I loved "The Bookstore". If you love books about books, and NYC, then you can't go wrong with it. It does have a douchey guy in it, but also a cute musician!

And as for anything that tries to spin from GWTW? Not a chance. If Margret didn't write it, it has nothing to do with GWTW, period. That is like James Patterson deciding to spin-off from Atlas Shrugged. LOL
