It's Monday! What Are You Reading? - 10/20/14

********************
I hope you had a great reading week.

********************
This is a weekly meme run by Book Journey!

Post the books completed last week, the books you are currently reading, and the books you hope to finish this week.

********************

There is a giveaway on my blog for TWO e-books - The Labryinth House if you want to stop by.

Books Completed Last Week:

THE WONDER OF ALL THINGS by Jason Mott

I wasn't that impressed with the book.  The writing is excellent, but the topic wasn't my favorite.

Review is in the book's title.

AN UNSEEMINGLY WIFE by E. B. Moore

An interesting read, beautiful writing, unforgettable characters, but just a bit slow.  I enjoyed this book.

Review will be up on October for a tour by the publisher.  Stop back.  It is on Goodreads at this time if you care to stop there.

Book Currently Reading:

CATTLE KATE by Jana Bommersbach

WHAT THE LADY WANTS by Renee Rosen

The books below are not necessarily in the order I have planned to read them.

I normally read in order of publication or tour date.

And....these are not for reading in the upcoming week.  They are books into and including all of 2014.

The "list" is a means of keeping me organized.  A visual display helps a lot for organization along with my Excel lists.

How was your reading week?

  1. Sounds like a little bit of a mixed bag of reading this week past week for you. May this coming week lead to much blissful reading.

  6. I liked the Jason Mott, but not love. We have lots of similar books to read. Your shelves are loaded like mine!!

  7. An Unseemly Wife sounds good. Sometimes I like slow character-driven novels and other times I prefer fast-paced. Depends on my mood.
