Mailbox Monday - 10/20/14

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. (Library books don’t count, but eBooks & audiobooks do).

Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles, and humongous wish lists!

Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia @ A Girl and Her Books, has a permanent home now at Mailbox Monday.

 *******************
Every week Mailbox Monday will have a new linky posted for our Mailbox Monday links at Marcia's Mailbox Monday blog.

Here’s a shout out to the new administrators:

Leslie of Under My Apple Tree
Vicki of I’d Rather Be at the Beach
Serena @ Savvy Verse And Wit

THANKS to everyone for keeping Mailbox Monday alive.

 ***************

  23. Hi Elizabeth,

Although I am not too sure about 'Miracle In A Dry Season' for myself, I shall wait and see what your book club makes of it before reaching a final decision. I can't believe how lucky you were to snaffle yourself 12 copies, although 12 reviewers in one go is probably joy to the ears of a publisher!

I eventually managed to add 'The Paris Winter' to my Want To Read list, although there are so many editions to choose from on Goodreads, that it did take some time! I haven't come across this author before, but I am also very tempted by her previous historical crime fiction series, featuring detectives Westerman & Crowther.

Thanks for a great post and enjoy your new finds,

    Yvonne

  25. The Paris Winter looks really interesting! I actually haven't read much historical fiction set in Paris, although I am currently reading All the Light We Cannot See, which is set there as well. Maybe I'll check The Paris Winter out next time I'm looking for a French fix.
