Book Blogger Hop - 12/26 - 1/1

 Question of the Week:

Do you have a book with a location that you just HAD to visit after reading the book?

My Answer:

Oh yes.  When I read SHADOW OF THE WIND by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, I HAD to visit Barcelona, Spain.

Barcelona is a BEAUTIFUL city.  I found all the places mentioned in the book, and it was so much fun.

Which city in a book do you love?

  1. I visited Barcelona about 5 years ago. Time for another visit. :)

ENJOY your weekend, and thanks for stopping by.

  2. I've never visited a city because I've read about it in a book but did love touring Savannah after reading Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

  3. Elizabeth, thank you for providing this week's question. My location wasn't a city, it was a mountain. See my reply on the Book Blogger Hop.

    1. A mountain sounds interesting, but I wouldn't be adventurous enough to attempt a mountain. :)

Going to check out your post.

      Thanks for stopping, Elsi.

  4. That's awesome that you got to visit Barcelona. I rarely travel, so I haven't visited any of my favorite novels' settings, but I do have a wish list of places to visit in my post on the Blog Hop.

    Happy hopping!

  5. I'd love to visit many places in Europe and books ARE a big part of that. Reading Anne and the French Kiss made me want to visit Paris, for example.

Off the top of my head, I would have to say I'd like to visit Venice after reading NLB Horton's "The Brothers' Keepers".

    1. It was so fun. We found all the places in the book. The only difficult place to find was Nadia's apartment, but we did find it after passing it by at least three times. :) I think I am remembering her name correctly.

It was nice and toasty warm when we were the too. :)

And...I LOVED the book. Glad to see someone else did too.

I didn't like The Angel's Game as much.

      Thanks for stopping, stacybuckeye.
