Book Blogger Hop - 2/6 - 2/12

 Question of the Week:

Is there anything that turns you off when you are reading a blog post? For example: two posts in one post such as answers to two memes.

My Answer:

Oh....this definitely throws me off.  I don't know which meme to answer even though I am ready to answer one specific one.  :)

I go to the blog via the link left in the linky list expecting to see an answer to that specific question and then I find two or even three memes in one post.

I don't know which one I should answer or I feel I need to answer all of them. :)

I like one meme per post.

Everything is for fun, though, and I need to just enjoy.  :)

How about you?  Do you like one meme per post or doesn't it bother you?

  1. I am sooo guilty to this because I usually have four memes in one post on Fridays. I prefer putting them all in one post because I don't want to clog up my blog with memes, but I totally understand how it can be confusing to visitors! Which is why I have no problem with people just answering to the meme they came for rather than answering to all of it. Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend!

    1. Thanks, Juli.

Sometimes I do come back and answer the other meme.

      Thanks for stopping, Juli.

  2. It doesn't bother me two or more memes per post. When I want to comment on a specific question I just do and filter everything else if I don't have anything to contribute.

    1. Good thinking. I need to think that way. :)

I guess I have to have everything in its own place. :)

      Thanks for stopping, Carmen.

  3. I don't mind memes being combined, especially if they're related.

  4. It doesn't bother me considering I do 3 in 1 but it also doesn't bother me if people just respond to one aspect of the post.

    1. Glad to hear that it is ok to respond to only one.

I do that and then sometimes come back. :)

      Thanks for stopping, Katherine.

  5. I like having more than one meme in a post because I like seeing the variety in questions and answers.

    1. Makes sense.

      I am too structured I guess. :)

      Thanks for stopping, Alysia.

  6. I don't mind them being combined but when there are too many it is really to hard to respond to all of them even if you want to!

    1. I like to reply to each one separately, but we all like different ways of doing things. :)

  7. Oh no! I'm so sorry for making your visit with my Friday meme blogs confusing and irksome :/ Like most of the comments above though, I don't want to crowd my blog with numerous meme responses, especially when they are so short. Plus, my time is of the value with four little ones! So, I have to make every minute count :)

Thanks for your honest answer though Elizabeth! So appreciated and please don't ever feel pressured to answer to all my meme responses :)

  8. It doesn't bug me too badly if someone combines several memes into one post. If I leave a comment -- and I don't always do so -- it's a comment on the entire post, not necessarily just for one of the memes. I do try to make it easy for visitors to my blog by keeping each meme in a single post even if that means I'm posting 2 times in one day.

    1. That is a good idea to comment on the entire post, Elsi. I never thought of that, but I do like to comment on ONE specific post.

Just me, I guess. Everyone is different, right?

Thanks for stopping by. Nice to hear your opinion.

  9. It can be confusing but I usually just comment on the meme that I am participating on. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  10. I agree - if I click to a meme post, it's because I'm wanting to see the answer to a certain meme. I'm okay with two in a post, but usually more than that and the post gets off track for me.

    1. It does make me get off track and I don't know which to answer even though I came for a specific one.

      Thanks for stopping, Brooke.

  11. I dont mind a blogger shoving everything in one. As long as it is neatly done. Meaning readable :)
