Book Blogger Hop - 4/3 - 4/9

 Question of the Week:

Is there one book you will NEVER forget?

My Answer:

This is a difficult question, and I have to name TWO books.

The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton

Shadow of The Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

These have been on my never-forget list for at least ten years.  :)

What about you?

  2. The Forgotten Garden was wonderful! I read it a couple of years ago but it's definitely etched in my memory. Especially the whole atmosphere of the book. I'll have to check out Shadow of the Wind.

  4. I agree with you about Shadow of the Wind. I would also mention Lucifer's Shadow, Dante Club, Da Vinci Code and The Sultam's Harem.

    2. I don't know those other books, but I also wouldn't put Shadow of the Wind in with Lucifer's Shadow. Maybe I misinterpreted it? I thought it was gothic. :)

      Thanks for stopping, Carmen.

    4. I read Lucifer's Shadow a long time ago, and it's definitely gothic, but unforgettable just the same, and for me it belongs in the same category as Shadow of the Wind and the others I mentioned.

I went to Barcelona after reading Shadow of The Wind. I found all the places mentioned in the book. LOVED IT.
