Book Blogger Hop - 5/29 - 6/4

 Question of the Week:

Can you read in a room with noise or do you have to have total quiet?

My Answer:

I can read in a room with some noise like perhaps a TV program that I have no interest in, but loud music or excessive talking prevents me from reading or concentrating.

  2. I think I'm the same way noise-wise. I can handle some but really loud talking or music or a TV program that I'm even slightly interested in will distract me.

  3. Sometimes I can deal with TV or music, usually depending on how involved I am in the story. Sometimes not. When I'm at home alone, my house is silent when I'm reading. But, my husband is a person who always has the TV in the background. So, I've adjusted.

  5. Most of the time, I can read in a room with a TV running, but I can't be where I can see the screen.

That is distracting for sure. :)
