Book Blogger Hop - 10/23 - 10/29

Book Blogger Hop
 Question of the Week:

Name one book you've read in the past that still haunts you today.

My Answer:

I don't even remember the title of the book, but it was a Stephen King book.  It scared me to death.

And...not even remembering the book's title tells you how much it frightened me. I don't want to remember it.  :)

I normally do not read horror.

  1. What about you?

Do you read horror and can't forget a book in that genre?

  2. I don't read it often, but I do like it when I do. SOME of it anyway---I like a good scary story, but I don't like slasher stuff, like chainsaw massacres.

  3. I don't read horror and don't intend to. I was the child who cried during the movie, Cujo. Probably the closest thing to horror I read when I was young were V.C. Andrews' series.

    1. I don't read it either as you see above.

      I liked V. C. Andrews' series. I agree...that is scary enough. :)

  5. Name one book you've read in the past that still haunts you today: It doesn't really haunt me but I still remember it vividly and it was a fantasy book. It was The Mirror by Marlys Millhiser (1978). A girl ends up exchanging places with her grandmother. Very intriguing.

    1. That sounds very interesting.

A switch from one age to another would be very intriguing. Did she have all the experiences her grandmother had?

Thanks for sharing and stopping, Diane.
