********************

The books below are not necessarily in the order I have planned to read them.

I normally read in order of publication or tour date.

And....these are not for reading in the upcoming week.  :)  They are books into and including all of 2015 and 2016.

The "list" is a means of keeping me organized.

A visual display helps a lot for organization along with my Excel list.

  3. Last week I completed Bram Stoker's Dracula. I never got the vampire thing but now I do! Started The Last Song Before Night by debut author Ilana C Myer. It is what I would call intelligent fantasy and features poets and songwriters. Don't know what I will get to this coming week due to the holiday. I will check in next week and let you know!

  18. Hi Elizabeth,

I had great fun reading your reviews and I promise to try and make time to stop by and leave comments when I have more time, however work (volunteering) has been manic this week so far. I think folks have just realised that Christmas is lurking around the corner :)

'Jamaica Inn', is one of those books I haven't read for many years, but will always stick in my mind, kinda like 'Rebecca'.

We actually live quite close to Cornwall, land of historical smuggling, tin mining and fishing. Although these days, tourism is definitely its primary asset. The rugged coastline is lovely, however the stunning bleak, brooding, moorland of Daphne du Maurier's, 'Jamaica Inn' still dominates the hinterland.

I hope that you enjoy the book and have a Very happy Thanksgiving :)

    Yvonne

So a perfect setting for Jamaica Inn. :)

Always love to read your comments.

We are at the airport. Going to New York to have Thanksgiving with our son. :)
