Blogger New Year's Challenge - 1/3/16

Join Rachel of Parajunkee.com for The Book Blogger New Year’s Challenge that will begin on January 1 and run for 14 days.

Day 3: The Negative Things in Blogging 2015 to Avoid in 2016

I really can't say I had anything negative happen on my blog in 2015.

I was able to choose amazing books to review, meet wonderful new bloggers, and discovered new blogs to visit.

The only negative thing I can think of is a few spam comments that I immediately deleted.

So....I can say that 2015 was another fantastic blogging year for me.

I am curious about what negative things happened to other bloggers.  I hope nothing too awful.

  1. Nothing negative here either except lack of motivation some days.

    1. That would be a negative.

I have to get reading. I have been on my blog for the past two days and not reading.

      Thanks for stopping, Kathy.

I think you gave me some motivation. :)

  3. I'm not nearly as active as I have been in the past--the days of three or four reviews per week are gone, and I'm guessing will not return, though you never know. I'm with you, spam comments are an annoyance but easily dealt with.

    1. There is no way I can post that many reviews per week. I can only read one book a week or even longer. :) That is great you used to be able post that many.

      Thanks for stopping, RAnn.

  4. I missed a couple of promised posts. Bad, bad, bad!! That's one reason my New Years Resolution is to become more organized. :)

    1. That would be upsetting to me as well as the person who was waiting for the post.

      You will be more organized.

I make printed and visual lists and have things taped/tacked onto a board for reminders. :)

      Thanks for stopping, Diane.

  5. I almost didn't participate today because I couldn't think of anything super negative (or honestly super positive- 2015 was a mixed bag for me!), I just want to continue keeping out of the drama and fray when I can. I'm so glad 2015 was a good blogging year for you, hope 2016 is even better!

  6. I really never heard of any drama on blogs. If there has been some drama, that is sad.

    Thanks for stopping, Kate.

  7. Being a new blogger I also don't have anything negative to say about blogging so far. I curious to see what other bloggers are saying so maybe I can avoid the same mistakes.

  8. I haven't had any of the negatives happen to me either, as I have just started out. I have witnessed some of them and hope I never personally have to deal wit them!

  9. Elizabeth, I'm glad you had a good, positive year in blogging. I did, too, although I didn't post as much as I did in previous years. Wishing you and your readers a very happy and healthy 2016! :)

  10. Oooh, this is a really interesting question.
I don't think I've had anything negative happen on my blog, but unfortunately they sometimes eek their way into life, itself, or Facebook. Yuck!

  11. I think worries of any drama make sure I keep my FB life away from my blogging life, for prevention's sake. I'm too opinionated for that to end well ;)

    1. Good idea. :)

I am not confrontational so I definitely do not like any drama.

      Thanks for stopping, Hazel.
