Book Blogger Hop - 1/8 - 1/18

 Question of the Week:
Have you made any improvements on your blog since your started your blog? Did you change the format? Did you change your header? Did you add or remove items from your side bar?

My Answer:

I have not changed my header or too much of anything on my blog.

I like my blog the way it is.  :)

I did eliminate my Shelfari bookshelf that was in my side bar because I always forgot to update my "currently reading" book.

Other than that, my blog has stayed pretty much the same.

I am known by my header which has become my "trademark," and definitely do not want to change that.

I am guessing folks have changed things, but just like my home, I keep things pretty much the same.

I am not a decorator.  :)

Just remembered...I did do an update.  I added blogs to my blog roll.  :)

  1. I have added and subtracted things from my sidebar. I changed my layout one time and Carl got upset so I changed it back. lol

  2. If something works, why change it?! I see you have a good thing going, so I would say stick with it!

  3. When I used Blogger I changed things up once in a while. Since moving to WP I've kept the same layout/design. I changed the background color to green for December and added the WP snow :) It's all back to normal now.

  4. I think I am known by the title of my blog more than what the header looks like so I am not worried about changing it from time to time. But I try not to change it to often. That and unless I can do my own graphics it can get expensive. :)

  5. Yes....when folks know you by your name or your header, not something we want to change.

I took my header's photograph when I was in Portree, Scotland, and it has become my "trademark" and don't want to change it.

    Thanks for stopping, Stormi.

  6. I'd like to personalize mine a bit more but for the most part I'm happy with my home too!

    1. Me too...I am happy with my blog and my home.

My sister is an interior designer and just dies when she come to my house. Things never change...her home always has something new or rearranged. :)

      Thanks for stopping, Katherine.

  7. I do change the widgets on my sidebar occasionally, but I don't touch the header. For some reason, I had the most difficult time getting it there the first time. :)

  10. I participated in the Blogviesta last year and I attempted to make a few minor changes to my blog, mainly in functionality but I am pretty chicken to change anything that involves HTML so I didn't change much either.
