Mailbox Monday - 1/11/16

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. (Library books don’t count, but eBooks & audiobooks do).

Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles, and humongous wish lists!

Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia @ A Girl and Her Books, has a permanent home now at Mailbox Monday.

 *****************
Every week Mailbox Monday will have a new linky posted for our Mailbox Monday links at Marcia's Mailbox Monday blog.
Here’s a shout out to the new administrators:

Leslie of Under My Apple Tree
Vicki of I’d Rather Be at the Beach
Serena @ Savvy Verse And Wit

THANKS to everyone for keeping Mailbox Monday alive.

I hope you had a good mailbox.

My mailbox was empty again, but that's ok.  I need to catch up.

How about your mailbox?

Any titles in your mailbox that you were excited about seeing?

  4. I had a slow week last week too and agree - it's okay. It gave me a chance to make a small dent in my TBR.

  6. An empty mail box is not a bad thing when you have many books already yammering for your attention. :)

  8. I should stop acquiring so many books until I've gotten through a sizeable stack of the ones I already own but haven't read yet. Good for you for working on that!

    1. I had to put two books down in the past few days. Actually three counting my first book of the year.

      I did finish only one.

I hope this next book is it.

      Thanks for stopping, readingdate.

    1. I think this next book will be good.

Two disappointments in a row. Third one hopefully will be the charm.

  13. I'm sure it won't be empty for long. I need to have more empty mailboxes - my reading list is longer than my lifespan - but it's so hard to say no!
