It's Monday! What Are YOU Reading? - 2/29/16

http://bookdate.blogspot.com/

********************
I hope you had a great reading week.
********************
This is a weekly meme hosted by Kathryn at BOOK DATE!

Post the books completed last week, the books you are currently reading, and the books you hope to finish this week.

 *************
Books Completed:

BLACK RABBIT HALL by Eve Chase

Oh my.....I LOVED IT.

Marvelous debut....family secrets and an old  homestead.

Don't you just love the cover?

From my review that should be up this week.

"BLACK RABBIT HALL had its marvelous characters that were loving and endearing and of course there was a villain who ruins it all."

Book Currently Reading:

THE TAXIDERMIST'S DAUGHTER by Kate Mosse

Books Up Next:

HANGING MARY by Susan Higginbotham

FALL OF POPPIES by Jessica Brockmole, Hazel Gaynor, Evangeline Holland, Kate Kerrigan, Jennifer Robson, Marci Jefferson, Heather Webb, Beatriz William, Lauren Willig

BRITT-MARIE WAS HERE by Fredrik Backman

WHAT SHE KNEW by Gilly MacMillan

THE AXEMAN by Ray Celestin

THREE STORY HOUSE by Courtney Miller Santo

GARDEN OF LETTERS by Alyson Richman

,.......,.

THE GIRL WHO CAME HOME by Hazel Gaynor

********************

The books below are not necessarily in the order I have planned to read them.

I normally read in order of publication or tour date.

And....these are not for reading in the upcoming week.  :)  They are books including all of 2015 and 2016.

The "list" is a means of keeping me organized.

A visual display helps a lot for organization along with my Excel list.

They certainly look a mess when this post is published.

Not sure why...they are all in perfect order side by side when I am in edit mode.

How was your reading week?

  8. Just by the cover, I'd guess THE TAXIDERMIST'S DAUGHTER is an interesting story. I just started a library e-book, Murder Past Due (Cat in the Stacks) by Miranda James.

    1. Well...I just learned how to skin an animal to get it ready for "stuffing."

I hope it gets better. There is to be a murder to solve mixed in so far..
