  2. I do like to walk but I run because I like the calorie burn and the feeling I get afterwards. Hope to do some trail walking this weekend w/the ohana.

  3. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, nice answers. I am surprised to see you are a slow reader because you do get through a lot of books. I am glad you enjoy yoga. I tried it 2 years ago and didn't enjoy it, but I think it was the teacher pushing too hard on a beginner. Have a nice weekend.

    1. It takes me at least a week to finish a book. :)

This Yoga teacher is very patient and encouraging. That would be awful to be pushed.

  4. I definitely prefer walking, too. I love the stretching of yoga, but I'm terrible at the yoga part of yoga - I have terrible balance. :) I'm definitely sentimental about family events, too! And no way would I have envisioned you to be a slow reader with all the books you read - but I bet you get more out of them then a fast reader would, because you don't miss anything! :) Loved your answers - have a great week!

  5. I used to read pretty fast and could knock out a 500+ page book in two days or so. Now I am a dreadfully slow reader and it may take me 6 months to read 100 pages. My memory issues are behind this. It slows me down because I have to keep re-reading parts of the page before I can go on. By the time I've completed the book, I've probably actually read it three times. :)

I like walking, too, especially when it is at a pretty place like a nature trail or park, and most especially in a cemetery. They are very peaceful places.

    Have a blessed weekend!

  6. I am a walker. Best way to exercise and get some fresh air. Nope to family events...were never the best way to spend time in my family.

  8. The aches and pains that were plaguing me that last couple of years, disappeared completely after I started doing Yoga. It really is a great way to stretch your body. It doesn't all have to be complicated poses, like some people think.

    1. Great to hear about the aches and pains.

Not complicated at all. It is relaxing, and I do laugh at some of the poses. All in all I like it.

      Thanks for stopping, Rory,
