Mailbox Monday - 9/5/16

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week.

Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles, and humongous wish lists!

Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia @ A Girl and Her Books, has a permanent home now at Mailbox Monday.
 *****************
Every week Mailbox Monday will have a new linky posted for our Mailbox Monday links at Marcia's Mailbox Monday blog.
Here’s a shout out to the new administrators:

Leslie of Under My Apple Tree
Vicki of I’d Rather Be at the Beach
Serena @ Savvy Verse And Wit

THANKS to everyone for keeping Mailbox Monday alive.

I hope you had a good mailbox.

On Wednesday, August 31, I received:

1.  KAROLINA'S TWINS by Ronald H. Balson, courtesy Staci Burt of St. Martin's.

I actually finished the book Thursday night.  Review will be this Wednesday.

I read his first book, ONCE WE WERE BROTHERS.

A line from my review of his first book:  "ONCE WE WERE BROTHERS is a beautiful way to tell a horrible historical story."

On Friday, September 2, I received:

1.  MENDING FENCES by Sherryl Woods, courtesy of Christi Sheehan of Harper Collins.

This was a surprise book!!

On Saturday, September 3, I received:

1.  STALKED by Elizabeth Heiter, courtesy of Christi Sheehan of Harper Collins.

This was a surprise book too.

    1. It was very good but heartwrenching.

I needed to have the review done by September 7 so that was another reason for the rush. :) The book was delayed in getting to me.

      Thanks for stopping, Kathy.

  6. What pretty covers on those first two. I have some of Sheryl Woods' novels here, but haven't read one yet. Really need to do that.

Hope you enjoy all these newbies.

I think I will like STALKED more than MENDING FENCES.
