Book Blogger Hop - 2/24 - 3/2

Question of the Week:

How do you feel about books with multiple narrators? (submitted by Eli @ The Book Supplier)

My Answer:

They are a bit confusing at first, but that doesn't make me stop reading.  :)

  2. I often really like books with multiple narrators. I especially like when the audio is narrated by different people.

  3. They can be a bit confusing at first but I think if they're done right they add an extra layer to the story. Hope you have a great weekend!

  4. Haha! I remember the first time I read a book with multiple narrators, I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. I remember one book that had a different font for each narrator which made things a little less confusing.

    Enjoy your week!

    1. I would love the different font as long as it was large enough to see.

  5. I don't mind if it makes sense for the story and the voices are clearly defined. If I get confused or can't keep track I'll normally DNF the book.

  6. I love them when they're done well but I guess you could say that about just about any book.

  7. I totally agree that, if done in a skillful manner, the technique of using multiple narrators can work. Not every writer can pull this off, though. And, as Billy, pointed out, too many narrators can actually detract from the story.

Thanks for sharing! Have a nice weekend!! HUGS!! <3 :)

  9. Agreed! Thankfully that has only happened to me once or twice reading a book of this type.

  11. I really enjoy them! I can appreciate a well done multiple narrator book, just as I can a single narrator.

I hope you have a great week, Elizabeth!
