  4. Lots of good-looking books! I love the look of Windy City Blues...and I have a copy of The Cutaway and The Widow's House.

    I loved Never Let You Go.

    1. I think you will like The Widow's House. It has a slow start but very good as you get over that hump. Gothic style with a creepy mansion. :)

  7. Enjoy Chevy Stevens and I do like the look of the Susan Meissner book. Time - where does it go to? How can I read faster even though I want to savour and enjoy slowly!!

  9. I'm glad to hear you loved "A Bridge Across the Ocean." I had really been looking forward to it, but I've been kinda put off by the whole talking-to-ghosts thing, which was unexpected. I'm not very far in at all, though, and I still have high hopes.

    I'm excited to read "The Book of Summer." I enjoyed Gable's "I'll See You in Paris." (And her covers are so pretty!)

  10. My book club just finished reading A Fall of Marigolds by SM and we loved it. I'll have to check out her new one. I read and loved The Hope Chest. I'll be sure to come and check out your post. Have a great week.

  11. So many pretty books! I have been seeing a lot of A Bridge Across the Ocean. I'll keep having to look up the title; it's so similar to The Light Between Oceans!
