Book Blogger Hop - 9/8 - 9/14

 Question of the Week:
Have you ever bought a book because you liked its cover art? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

My Answer:

I have to admit that covers do draw me in.

I look at the cover before I look at the summary on the back.

So...my answer is yes...I would buy a book for its cover.

    1. I agree...so far so good for me too.

The cover seems to reflect the inside in most cases.

  3. I would look at a book because of its cover but don't think I've ever bought one because of it.

  4. Covers have been the reason I have given a book a closer look, but never the sole reason I buy a book or even decide to read it. I'm afraid I'm more picky than that. Haha.

I hope you have a great weekend, Elizabeth. Thank you for sharing!

  5. I'm the same way! I always check out the synopsis but a beautiful cover will draw me in. I haven't always been that way, when I was younger I could totally go into a book store and start grabbing books off the shelves if it looked good. Now, present me doesn't even know how I did that. I probably wasted so much money on books I didn't even like. Hahaha.

Great answer! <3 hope you have a fantastic weekend Elizabeth!

  6. A pretty cover always pulls me right in, but the synopsis is the deal breaker for me and whether I will make the purchase! I hope you have a lovely weekend Elizabeth :)

  8. The cover makes me check out a book, but it wouldn't be the reason I bought it.

  10. I always buy books based on the cover and the synopsis. If the cover is tacky or cheap looking but the synopsis is still good, then I could forgive the bad cover haha!

    1. That makes sense to forgive the cover if the book is good. :)

  11. I'm the same way: the covers draw me in and then I read the blurb.
