"How long will we be gone?" my sister Maria asks.

"Awhile," I answer.

"Two months? Six months? A Year? Two?"

"Quiet."  I nudge her forward, my gaze darting around the departure area of Rancho-Boyeros Airport to see if anyone has overheard her question."

  9. OMG, I am very much interested in "Next Year in Havana"!! As you know, I'm Cuban myself. AND I happen to have been born in Havana. I have not been back since my family left the country. So this is a book that will STRONGLY resonate with me! I'm SO glad you're featuring it, Elizabeth!! I've already added it to my Goodreads shelves!

And BTW, I sent you a friend request on Goodreads. I could have sworn we were already friends there, lol.

Another book I'm interested in is "Where the Wild Cherries Grow". I need to read more historical fiction!

As for the other books, I'll have to check them out in more detail, on Goodreads.

Thanks for sharing!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU & YOUR FAMILY!! HUGS!!! <3 <3 <3 :) :) :)
