Book Blogger Hop - 12/8 - 12/14

 Question of the Week:

If you celebrate Christmas, do you feel the need to stop reading anything but Christmas-themed romances as the holiday season starts? (submitted by Maria @ A Night's Dream of Books)

My Answer:

Great question as always, Maria, but I do not read Christmas-themed, romance, or any holiday-themed books.  :)

Will be looking forward to what others have to say.

  1. I'm the same. Sometimes Christmas happens to occur during a book but it's never a "Christmas" book!

Romance is always on the back burner for me. If it shows up in a book, that's ok, but I don't read strictly romance.

    1. Exactly...I like to read within my genre and wouldn't drop my book to read a holiday-themed book.

  4. I usually read Christmas books, although it depends on if I'm in the mood for them or not.

  5. Oh, I'm such a HUGE Christmas addict, I NEED to read Christmas-themed books at this time of year, and I prefer romance novels most of all! I don't know why, but this "craving" hits me pretty soon after Thanksgiving, and sometimes even before then! Lol.

I see from your answer, as well as others in the hop, that not everyone feels this need to read Christmas romances at this time of year. I guess everyone has their own holiday traditions, right? It just so happens that mine extend to books, too! Lol.

Thanks for the compliment on my question, thanks for sharing, and thanks for commenting on my BBH post! HUGS!!!! <3 <3 <3 :) :) :)

  6. I just keep reading what I'm reading, because I'm so busy either working during the crazy holiday season, or shopping for gifts. I'll be lucky if I can finish the book in any capacity.
