Book Blogger Hop - 1/26 - 2/1

 Question of the Week:

Do you ever go back to older posts and change things? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

My Answer:

I may go back and look at a post, but never change anything unless I see a glaring error I made grammatically or if it is a typo.

I rarely go back, though.

Too many other good things going on to re-do an old post.

Just like too many good books out there to re-read a book I have already read.  :)

  2. I'm the same way! Though I'm not sure I've even fixed grammatical errors as I don't think I've looked at old posts in a long time.

    1. I don't do it routinely, but I was just browsing one day and found an error. Oh dear!!

I did enjoy seeing how my reviews have improved. :)

  3. I'm the same way - I only change something if I see an error - but I rarely go back to old posts.

    1. Not enough time to look at every one, but it is fun to see how we have grown.

  4. I am the same way! If I see a grammatical error I'll fix it but other than that I'd rather use my time writing up new blogs or reading! :D I hope you have a great weekend!

  5. I started doing this some time back, but then I stopped. I've only changed like maybe four or five posts. It's much too time-consuming to go back and change old posts! Plus, one can see one's own evolution as a blogger, if one leaves the older posts as they are.

Like you, though, I will go back and change typos or grammatical "boo-boos".

    Thanks for sharing, Elizabeth!! ENJOY your weekend!! HUGS!!!! <3 <3 <3 :) :) :)

    1. Yes...the evolution was pretty dramatic. :)

Well that is a strong word, but I definitely saw a difference in my reviews, and am pleasantly surprised how I have improved.

      Always good to see growth.

      Thanks for commenting, Maria.

    1. Yes...too time consuming to go back, and the posts can be what they are. :)

We can see how much better we have gotten. :)

  8. Here as well. Usually the only time I go back is if I need to link to an early review or someone asks. Otherwise they just hang out way back there. lol

  9. My project this year is to go back, fix formatting and links, replace missing pictures, and get my lists up to date. And fix any errors I may have missed.

  10. I go back pretty rarely. I just did a bunch of file backups though and found a ton of typos, so I fixed all of those :) Great question!

  11. Rereads are fun though! If you feel like in the middle of a slump and don’t feel like reading into anything major, rereading favorite parts can get you to read new ones. Sometimes, but not all the time. To be honest, I really should because some of the featured images I have could be used against me for copyright issues. Writing-wise, I don't look back on my posts for that, because my writing back in 2014-2015 was so cheesy!! I like how I can see how much I've grown and explored more with the blog itself. But reading my own past work gives me such a weird feeling. My BBH http://poemsbyayoungartist.blogspot.com/2018/02/bookbloggerhop-january-26-february-1-tbt.html
