Book Blogger Hop - 5/4 - 5/10

Question of the Week:

Do you ever feel like you have emerged better for reading a book? (submitted by Rubina @ Booklove)

My Answer:

Very thoughtful question.

I think a few books have made me think about my life and where I have been and where I am going.

So....I am going to answer YES to the question because I had to re-think some things in my life.

One book I know touched me and had me thinking was THE CURIOUS CHARMS OF ARTHUR PEPPER.

  1. Yes, certainly. Sometimes not changing my perspective entirely but at least to question some things.

  2. I like to say the same too, but I can't really figure out how I've emerged better. I took the question more as learning something afterwards. Which I always do! Lol!

  5. I have emerged better from reading books that I wouldn't have expected it from. Follow the River is one of them.

  6. It is a very thoughtful question indeed! And one that's rather open to interpretation, I believe. Great answer! I think that reading in general allows us to expand our knowledge and, in turn, betters us as people, but I definitely know what you mean about certain books making you have to rethink things. I've had a few books that have made me take a step back and think too.

Books are the windows to the world and teach, enlighten, and make us think.

  7. Great answer Elizabeth. Many books give us so much knowledge and to me, thats better. This question was quite open to interpretation.
