Book Blogger Hop - 2/8/2019

Question of the Week:

Do you have celebrations for your blog's anniversary such as a giveaway? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

My Answer:

I do not have an official celebration but I do put up a post on the day of my blog's anniversary.

I have giveaways all year long and have three current ones going on.

The giveaways can be found in the GIVEAWAYS TAB.

  1. I'm more sporadic with my contests so I always run one for my blogoversary!

  3. I have done quite a few giveaways over the year, but only two have been specifically for my blog anniversary. My evening mentioning my anniversary over the past 12 1/2 years has been hit and miss. I tend not to make a big deal of it.

    Happy Reading!

  4. I've not especially done anniversary giveaways, but maybe I'll fund one next year when my blog turns 10. We'll see...

  5. I have never done a giveaway. Are they time-consuming?

    1. Not at all. :)

I make a post with the giveaway, then I make a google form for people to enter, and the entries tally up in the spreadsheet that is generated when you make the form. You do not have to make the spreadsheet...the form does it.

When your giveaway has ended, you put the number of entries into random.org, and it chooses the winner. :)

E-mail me for more directions if you would like them.
