Book Beginnings - 4/12/2019

My Book Beginnings is taken from EMILY GONE by Bette Lee Crosby:

"It's been forty-seven years since the music festival took place out at Harold Baker's farm, but everyone in Hesterville remembers that weekend.  Not because of the music which was so loud you could hear it clear over in Weston, and not even because of the nineteen people arrested.  No, the reason the people of Hesterville remember that weekend is because of what happened to the Dixon family."
