  5. Ashes looks good. I read about 1/3 of Girl in the Rearview Mirror before deciding to DNF it. It was too slow-paced for me. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

    1. ASHES is very good, but a bit depressing at the beginning.

At first I didn’t know if I was going to continue, but I am glad I did. It is good, and the author has a great writing style.

It includes how the unions helped the workers in the garment district get better wages and working hours - great historical fiction.

Oh no on THE GIRL IN THE REARVIEW MIRROR - sorry to hear it was too slow.

Thanks for the information, and thanks for commenting, Kathy.
