Book Blogger Hop - 8/2 - 8/8

Question of the Week:

Do you own more than one copy of a book? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

My Answer:

Not really, but I do end up with an e-book and a print at times.

  1. I've done that on a rare occasion too! Mostly if I read an ebook series and love it (and the author), I'll buy the first in series real book version!

    1. If I had the e-book and really loved it, I sometimes buy the print.

Thanks for sharing what you do, Jessica.

  2. I sometimes have ebook double as well, but once I have a physical copy I never ever open an e-book, so it's like not having it at all))

    1. I prefer print also so I can share a book I loved, but I have been reading e-books lately.

  3. I have some different editions of the same book, maybe because I get them from subscription boxes or people give them to me as gifts, or I really lovea book. For example, I have several editions of the Harry Potter books and I love each and every one of them.

  4. It's so hard for me to read ebooks anymore (so imagine all the ARCs that keep piling up) but i usually do a physical and an audiobook :)

  5. I also tend to get an ebook at times when an author or company sends me a copy of a book at the same time I'm reading the book on NetGalley or Edelweiss.

  6. Hi Elizabeth, I don’t own more than one copy of any book per se but I do own different formats of the same book. For example, I’ve got the paperback versions of Holly Bell’s Amanda Cadabra Mysteries as well as the Kindle versions. I own the Kindle version of Teresa Gabelman's The Protectors series and also the Audible versions so that I can access my favourite reads wherever I am.

Having said that, I'm sure the collector in me would also want a favourite book in multiple paperbacks if they changed the cover design. ;-)

I hope you enjoy your weekend. Here's my BBH Post

I love when they change the covers, but I usually like the first one the best!! :)

  7. I have been known to get the e-copy of physical books I already own. Especially when it's a really big book--like War and Peace. I do have some that are in both hardcover and paperback and also audiobooks I have in physical format.

    Have a great week!
