Book Blogger Hop - 8/7/2020

Question of the Week:

Do you read books by diverse authors or books with diverse characters (such as LGBT, ethnic minorities, religious minorities, etc)? If yes, do you have any book recommendations? Do you visit indie and/or used bookstores? Also, have you ever worked in any? (submitted by Kristin @ Lukten av Trykksverte)

My Answer:

I usually stick with historical fiction, mystery, and women's fiction.

I visit Indie stores even though we only have one in my area.

I have never worked in a bookstore, but that would be a lot of fun.

  1. I think working in a bookstore would be fun! Though very costly. I can imagine the damage done to my credit card with an employee discount! LOL!

    1. Definitely would do damage to the credit card, but oh such fun.

      Thanks for your comment, Jessica.

  2. The world is a diverse place; people of different skin colour, religious beliefs and customs have populated the planet since the very beginning. Surely this should be reflected in literature too? This question has caused me to look at my favourite authors. Some are better at showing this diversity in their books than others. ;-)
