Teaser Tuesday - 11/13/2012

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser is from an e-book I just started to read on Sunday night.

Play Him Again by Jeffrey Stone.

This is the first page and the first sentence of the e-book:

"The Essex Super Six Coupe rolled over the redwood planking, shattered the wooden railing at the end of the Sunset Pier, and plunged into the Pacific Ocean.  The impact jarred Danny back to consciousness."

I also have a review and giveaway of the book I had for my teaser last week...it was an AWESOME READ.  Details are below:

  3. Wow, what a start!

I hate when I have a hard time following a book. Sometimes I can come back to it later, sometimes you just have to cut your ties. Hope the next one goes better for you!

  4. The teaser draws you right into the story, but noticed you stopped reading the book. Maybe the next book will be better.

  11. What a cruel awakening!

I've had two books recently that I just couldn't finish. It's frustrating but better to quit and move on because there are so many wonderful books just waiting to be explored! Hope your next is enticing for you.
