Question of the Week:
Are you able to read in the car?
My Answer:
I can read in the car. I do get a bit queasy at times, but for the most part I am ok.
I do better in the front passenger's seat than in the back seat.
I hope you can read in the car. :)

No reading in the car for me unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteIt is something that comes and goes for me.

I have to be careful when reading in the car to not get queasy. I find the front passenger seat helps and I try and hold my Kindle directly in front of my face. Something about looking down sets me off.
ReplyDeleteI will have to try that about the positioning of the book.

I can read in the car, but the funny thing is, I do get queasy on carnival rides. ???
ReplyDeleteI can't do carnival rides. :)

Oh no, not even a little bit. I have dreadful motion sickness on all kinds of things. For me, Dramamine is my friend and so I'm always a little loopy when I travel. Interestingly enough, I don't feel the same when I'm the one driving. :-)
ReplyDeleteHopefully you aren't reading when you are driving. LOL!!
DeleteI hate feeling queasy.

I'm just the opposite; I can read much better in the back seat. However, since my husband and I don't have kids, I obviously have to sit up front. Lol. But I can concentrate pretty well, if we're on a long trip. It's not so easy if we're just on the commute to work, because that's pretty short.
ReplyDeleteHappy Hopping and reading in the car and elsewhere! And have a GREAT weekend, too!! :)
You should sit in the back and pretend he is your chauffeur. :)

You are good. I get car sick and just can't.
ReplyDeleteI get sick sometimes, but not all the time.
DeleteThanks for stopping, Stefanie.
I so wish I could read in the car.

I can, but I'm seldom a passenger. Before hubby and I go to VA to visit our grown kids, I try to remember to get a book on CD's from the library, but keep forgetting.

Mine wouldn't want to listen to a book on tape so I just read. :)

Car sickness has never been a problem for me, fortunately. My husband on the other hand . . .
ReplyDeleteI used to get sick when I was younger.
DeleteIt was awful.
Good to hear you don't get sick....sorry about your hubby.
Thanks for stopping, Literary Feline.
I love the front seat the best and most of all I like to drive but yes I can read ebooks in the car.
