Question of the Week:
Do you tend to read more in the winter or in the summer months?
My Answer:
I think I read about the same, but then again perhaps more in the winter since there is nothing else to do outside. :)
So...I guess I really don't have a definite answer other than I am always reading. :)

I'm lucky to live in Florida. We don't really get a winter... maybe a month of cold weather total. I probably have more time to read in the summer since I'm a school teacher, but I'm with you and my reading stays about the same.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the season makes any difference in my reading, except maybe during the winter holidays. Things get a bit busy at that point.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'm a seasonal reader either.
ReplyDeleteI read all year round too!
ReplyDeleteBetween the kids being out of school and the heat I think my reading takes a slide during the summer but not an enormous one.
ReplyDeleteI read more in the winter, but even during the summer I'm still reading a lot, just not quite as much. I'd love to be able to keep up my reading speed year round, but the nice spring and summer weather calls to me. Hope you have a great weekend! Here's my Friday memes. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI think I read more in the summer, because I love setting on the back porch while reading. :)

My reading is horribly behind as Goodreads reminds me I'm like nine books behind on my 101 goal.
ReplyDeleteSame here. I read all the time and no seasons in the tropics though am in Melbourne right now which is supposed to have seasons!

ReplyDeleteI am addicted to reading so I read all the time. I'll make any excuse to read.

I'm like you -- I read about the same all year round. As you know from my own answer, though, I HATE the heat down here in South Florida! My idea of perfect reading is being curled up on a couch near a warm fireplace, with a cup of hot cocoa nearby, while snow is gently falling outside.... Ha! In my dreams! I've never even seen snow in person! Lol.
ReplyDeleteFailing the above, I am then content to have the AC on as high as possible, while I curl up on the couch with a book and a tall glass of iced tea. Lol.
Thanks for dropping by and commenting! Happy Hopping! Hope you have a great weekend, too!! <3 :)
I always have my nose in a book no matter the weather! Thanks for popping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteExcellent answer, Elizabeth! I wish I had thought of that!
ReplyDeleteSummers are so hot here . . . I can't imagine being outside for long during the summer. Winter is much more mild where I live. Over all though, I read about the same throughout the year.
ReplyDeleteAlways reading is a fantastic answer! I just consider weather to be mood lighting. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog!
