Books Completed last week:
THE SECRETS OF FLIGHT by Maggie Leffler
A marvelous debut.
Loved the characters...wonderful description.
The only thing I had difficulty with was getting the gist of the story at the beginning, but after that I couldn't put it down.
My review will be on my blog on April 26.

I like how these covers don't show a face which I think lets a reader's imagination freely imagine.
ReplyDeleteThat is an interesting observation, Wooly Cakes and Wooden Spoons. :)

Hi Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteSince you shared the opening lines of 'Sister Dear', I have heard nothing but good comments and thoughts about it, so I shall look forward to your own review.
You have some great books coming up, a couple of which I already seem to have on my 'Want To Read' list, so it looks as though we are tracking one another with our thriller reading!
'All Is Not Forgotten' and 'What She Knew' both sound great, don't they?
Thanks for sharing, it looks as though you have some great reading ahead :)
Yvonne
It was a great read. Difficult to put down...can't believe someone could be that cruel to her own sister.
DeleteWe definitely are tracking similar books.
ENJOY your reading week, and thanks for stopping, Yvonne.
On Monday I was reading Seven Days in May, a 1962 political thriller. I finished it and now I want to see the movie. Today I am starting The Sellout by Paul Beatty.
