Hi Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteI think someone else in my blogging circle featured 'I Let You Go' this week, as I have already added it to my 'Want To Read' list - It sounds like a great read!
I have several of the Laura Lippman books on my list also, although I have yet to read any of them. 'Wilde Lake' isn't amongst them, however I am loathe to add any more of Laura's books to my list, until I have read at least a couple of those already on it. Her books score consistently high ratings and reviews, so her writing is obviously very popular with everyone.
There are so many great recommendations from all you lovely people in blogland, that it is just too easy to get very carried away :)
Thanks for sharing and I hope that you enjoy whichever one of these beauties that you decide to read first :)
Yvonne.
Oh yes on getting carried away.
DeleteSo many good books on everyone's blogs that are difficult to pass up.
Thanks for stopping, Yvonne.
I held off requesting A Certain Age, although I really do want to read it. I'm waiting for the audio book since I already have more than enough print books. (I know you don't like audio!) I've listened to Beatriz Williams' previous books -- they all had the same narrator -- and they are an easy listen and a nice break from the thrillers I usually choose.
ReplyDeleteI have listened to audios, but prefer print. :)
DeleteThanks for stopping, Leslie.
You got some good books! I passed on the Lippman book, but may grab it (from the ARC shelf at work) if it gets a lot of praise.
ReplyDeleteIt is more a family saga than a mystery, but it wasn't bad.
DeleteThanks for stopping, Les.
The cover of A CERTAIN AGE by Beatriz Williams is very attractive. Hope you enjoy it. :)
